OUR HISTORY
Our story began in 1981 when Gino Gianola and his wife Simonetta decided to take this culinary adventure. Since than, many chapters have been written into our history.
In 2000 the restaurant was fully renovated and expanded and over the years its privilaged position and updated menus, have rendered this venue extremely requested by local and travelers clients.
Today Il Poggio is still run by the family with the son Mauro, his wife Alessia and their young professional employees. Sensitive to the evolution of his growing clientele, Mauro understood the need to meet their continuously changing tastes and requests. In doing so, he began proposing menus featuring only the freshest ingredients in season, prepared in traditional healthy manner, but with innovative accents
